In recent years you've witnessed more and more consumers placing a premium on the health of their families, the planet and the future of society. Consumers are no longer content with the ordinary supplies of goods and services, and they want to integrate their social, political and economic values with their purchasing power.
We at the San Diego Green Business Network (SDGBN) believe that entrepreneurs who respond to this market reality can combine business success with socially and environmentally responsible action. We want to help those entrepreneurs succeed, and we would like your support.
Join us in helping to connect other enterprises like yours with the belief that smart business and long-term stewardship of natural and human resources go hand-in-hand.
By creating opportunities to network with one another and to cross-promote our businesses, we encourage a more sustainable economy for San Diego and a more vibrant and healthy future for our children.
The criteria for participation are simple: 1. Be in business 2. Commit to doing "good" work in a sustainable way
Work that is “good” can generally be defined as selling products or services that deliver benefits to consumers, society and the environment. Other considerations include businesses that help the community to flourish socially and culturally while balancing economic competition with economic cooperation that promotes the efficient use and sharing of natural resources, technologies, knowledge and capital at the local, national and global levels. |

Brendan Heath General Manager We are opening San Diego's first reverse retail recycling kiosk, located in Carmel Valley (Torrey Hills Market Place.) We are looking to open around mid-October of this year. We are teaming with local non-profit organizations and schools to help fundraise on their behalf on weekends. We are a fully-staffed kiosk and built to fit neatly into the surrounding retail marketplace, so that consumers can make recycling part of their pre-existing shopping patterns. www.Recycle4life. com Phone: 619.571.7771 Email: bheath@recycle4life .com |
