Monthly meetings are every third Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. 9601 Ridgehaven Court, San Diego, CA 92123 (City of San Diego Environmental Services Deptartment Green Building) Next Meeting: Wednesday, September 17th @ 8:00 AM In recent years you've witnessed more and more consumers placing a premium on the health of their families, the planet and the future of society. Consumers are no longer content with the ordinary supplies of goods and services, and they want to integrate their social, political and economic values with their purchasing power.
We at the San Diego Green Business Network (SDGBN) believe that entrepreneurs who respond to this market reality can combine business success with socially and environmentally responsible action. We want to help those entrepreneurs succeed, and we would like your support.
Join us in helping to connect other enterprises like yours with the belief that smart business and long-term stewardship of natural and human resources go hand-in-hand.
By creating opportunities to network with one another and to cross-promote our businesses, we encourage a more sustainable economy for San Diego and a more vibrant and healthy future for our children.
The criteria for participation are simple: 1. Be in business 2. Commit to doing "good" work in a sustainable way
Work that is “good” can generally be defined as selling products or services that deliver benefits to consumers, society and the environment. Other considerations include businesses that help the community to flourish socially and culturally while balancing economic competition with economic cooperation that promotes the efficient use and sharing of natural resources, technologies, knowledge and capital at the local, national and global levels.
